Chan Yew Liang

Mr. Chan is a founder and hold the post of Adviser cum Director of CMP Consultants Pte Ltd. CMP is an associate company of Crooks Michell Peacock & Stewart (CMPS) of Australia since its incorporation on 2 June 1973 until 30 June 2017. Before that, he joined R Crooks Michell & Peacock, Kuala Lumpur in 1962 and CMPS, Australia in 1967.

He has more than 54 years of extensive experience and intimate involvement in highway route selection and ground survey; planning and design of housing estate and industrial complexes; sewerage and drainage schemes; retail and commercial projects; healthcare complexes as well as institutional projects, in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.

He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE), Accredited Checker (AC) and a Qualified Person (Civil) in Singapore for all projects undertaken by the Company. In the course of work, he has exposure to various culture and practices such as Australian, British, American, Japanese, South Korean, Thai, Indian and Malaysia. His wide experience in building and construction is evidenced by the successful handling of prestigious projects like Raffles City Project, Chai Chee Techno Park, SIA Supplies Centre, Second Japanese Primary School, Macro Polo Hotel and Richmond Park Condominium.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1962.
